There are currently two licensing options:

How do ProClarity customers upgrade their licenses to Office PerformancePoint Server 2007?
ProClarity customers who are current on maintenance will be entitled to exchange one ProClarity Analytics Server license for one Office PerformancePoint server 2007 license. They will also be entitled to exchange one ProClarity Analytics Server client access license or, -one- Web client access license for one Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 client access license. Additionally, the ProClarity Desktop Professional license may continue to be used either standalone or in conjunction with Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 as the ProClarity Desktop Professional license also includes an Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 client access license.
How do Business Scorecard Manager customers upgrade their licenses to Office PerformancePoint Server 2007?
Business Scorecard Manager (BSM) customers who are current on Software Assurance will be entitled to exchange one BSM Server license for one Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 server license. They will also be entitled to exchange one BSM client access license for one Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 client access license. Also, they can exchange one BSM External Connector license for one Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 External Connector license.
How do ProClarity customers with concurrent users upgrade their licenses to Office PerformancePoint Server 2007?
Existing ProClarity customers who are current on maintenance and with concurrent user pricing will be entitled to convert ProClarity concurrent user licenses to three times that number of PerformancePoint Server or ProClarity 6.3 client access licenses or to a mutually agreeable number of client access licenses. For example, 150 ProClarity concurrent users will convert to 450 PerformancePoint Server 2007 client access licenses. For customers with unlimited ProClarity concurrent users, visit with your Microsoft sales representatives to determine a mutually agreeable number of client access licenses.
Will the former ProClarity customers who are not current on maintenance be entitled to upgrade their licenses to Office PerformancePoint Server 2007?
Customers who did not renew their maintenance by purchasing Software Assurance by June 30, 2007, will have to repurchase their ProClarity 6.3 software licenses and purchase Software Assurance to be entitled to receive licenses to Office PerformancePoint Server 2007.
Will ProClarity Analytics Server 6.3 be available for sale after the release of Office PerformancePoint Server 2007?
No. With the general availability of Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007, ProClarity Analytics Server 6.3 will become a component of Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007. ProClarity Analytics Server 6.3 will continue to be supported by Microsoft according to the Microsoft standard support policies, which cover a period of 10 years.

Will ProClarity Desktop Professional 6.3 be available for purchase after the release of PerformancePoint Server 2007?
Yes. ProClarity Desktop Professional 6.3 is currently available via Microsoft Volume Licensing (VL). With the general availability of Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007, ProClarity Desktop Professional 6.3 will stay on VL as a separately licensed application while ProClarity Analytics Server 6.3 will become a component of Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007.
Will Business Scorecard Manager Server 2005 be available for sale after the release of Office PerformancePoint Server 2007?
No. However, customers can still obtain a copy of the software for installation if needed. Business Scorecard Manager Server 2005 will continue to be supported by Microsoft according to the Microsoft standard support policies, which cover a period of 10 years.

What if a customer would like to use the functionality that is included in ProClarity Analytics Server 6.3 or Business Scorecard Manager Server 2005?
Customers who obtain a license of Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 may utilize ProClarity Analytics Server 6.3 and/or downgrade their monitoring capabilities to Business Scorecard Manager 2005. If the customer chooses to use both Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 and ProClarity Analytics Server 6.3 they may install them on one server instance under the current license. If the customer chooses to install the products on multiple servers, they must obtain a server license for each implemented server. Alternatively, customers may exercise their downgrade right and use both ProClarity and Business Scorecard Manager installed on separate servers. Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 client access licenses will be able to access all of the instances and servers.
