Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 Service Pack 2 is Available!
Service Pack 2 includes enhancements such as improved query performance, support for SQL Server 2008, increased compatibility with Windows Server 2008, including support for Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V, and more filtering capabilities for PerformancePoint dashboards. These enhancements boost the already robust capabilities of PerformancePoint Server 2007.

Beyond English, PerformancePoint Server 2007 SP2 for Japanese, German, Chinese Simplified, French, Spanish, Dutch, and Italian, are now available from the Microsoft Download Center:
Swedish, Korean, Danish, Finnish, Polish, Portuguese (Portugal), Portuguese (Brazil), Chinese Traditional, Russian, Czech) will be available in late January 2009.

- There are three primary update scenarios for moving to Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server Service Pack 2 (SP2) from PerformancePoint Server 2007 RTM or Service Pack 1 (SP1).
- Update PerformancePoint Server with SP2 only. No changes to SQL Server 2005
- Update SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008 and then update PerformancePoint Server to SP2
- Install PerformancePoint Server RTM and SQL Server 2008 in a new environment
