Microsoft purchased leading analytics vendor ProClarity in the spring of 2006, and ProClarity now provides the foundation for the analytic functionality of PerformancePoint Server 2007.

With the release of PerformancePoint Server 2007, customers who purchased ProClarity or Business Scorecard Manager (and are current on their software assurance and product maintenance) will receive upgrades to the full version of PerformancePoint Server 2007, including all three capabilities: monitoring, analytics, and planning.
