The user interface of the core application has been updated to comply with Microsoft Windows XP themes, making it easier for people to navigate through the system using the menu icons they already use in their other Windows applications.

Drilldown in reports, which has been a highly requested feature, is also included in Microsoft Enterprise Reporting. The drilldown feature provides you and your team with the ability to access and examine the underlying detail transactions that make up the amounts displayed in a report. You will be presented with a subset of the report that includes the information you are looking for.

The release also contains new functions enabling your people to retrieve information (name and code) on who inserted or most recently updated transactions in the database when processing forms and reports. The highly requested function allowing you to retrieve all dimensions attributes in forms and reports is also supported in this new release.

The Import Server and the Report Server have been rebuilt on top of the Microsoft .NET Framework, creating stronger and more flexible services. Furthermore, the Report Server has been transformed to a Web Service, offering your staff complete flexibility from where and how to order reports via the Report Server.
