We respect your confidentiality at all times throughout the recruitment and interview process. We have measures in place to ensure that your potential candidacy is not discussed with anyone outside of Microsoft Canada. If we move forward to the offer stage with your application, the offer will be contingent on background and reference checks. We will notify and seek your authorization to conduct references prior to contacting your referees. References will not be conducted without your authorization.

We will conduct behavioural and competency based interviews to determine depth of experience as it relates to the current position and other opportunities at Microsoft Canada.

After the interview the Hiring Manager or Interview Team Member requires 72 hours to make a measured, well thought out decision on your suitability for the role and benchmark against the other applicants under consideration. It is our intent to provide feedback in a timely manner, but we also respect the years of experience and skills that you have developed, the importance of your decision to seek employment opportunities with Microsoft Canada and want to ensure that we give your experience and interview the full consideration it deserves.

If you have not received feedback or instructions regarding next steps within 72 hours, we encourage you to contact the Recruiting Consultant who initially scheduled your interview.
