It’s great that the newer Xbox 360 has an HDMI port because the quality of video and audio when I use this type of connection is unmatched. It also allows for a lot less clutter behind the television.
Having an HDMI port, coupled with the Gigabit Ethernet port on the Xbox 360, allows me to stream HD content straight from my hard drives on my computer to my HD television. Now I can just take videos with my HD camcorder, transfer them to the computer and stream them over in full HD and Dolby sound through Xbox Media Center. Now I do not have to transfer my videos to the computer, convert them and then burn them to DVD just to be able to watch them.
The 360 allows me to watch my HD recordings instantly. It saves me so much time! I just love it!
