Software Donation Programs
Choose a Program:
This program provides all eligible Canadian charities and nonprofits with access to Microsoft software through our nonprofit partner, TechSoup. Microsoft Canada donates the software at no cost to the organization, and the nonprofit or charity is charged just a minimal fee by TechSoup to cover administrative costs. The Charity Open License Program (COLP) provides all eligible registered charitable organizations with a simple and fairly priced licensing program. COLP is available to help charities that have previously ordered software from the I CAN Software Donation program within the past two years but have additional software needs (i.e. additional titles and licenses). Canadian PC refurbishers designated as a registered charity or nonprofit, can obtain Windows 98 or Windows 2000 to install on computers being used for donation purposes. The organization must meet the minimum requirement of donating at least 50 refurbished computers per year to other charities or nonprofits. |
