OPEN CHARITY LICENSING PROGRAM in Canada – Updated February 1, 2010
Over the last several months Microsoft Canada Inc. has performed a review of the Open Charity Licensing Program in Canada. The objective of this review was to positively enhance the existing program for Canadian charities and partners who are eligible to participate. By doing so we have improved our ability to provide products to qualified charities in need of discounted software and to do so in a consistent manner.
As part of this review process, we involved both our customers and our partners in several focus group sessions to listen and understand the challenges they were facing with the existing program. We are confident that the updates made to the program and process will address the concerns raised.
