Two Month Launch Tour Demonstrates Business Value of New Enterprise-Class Solutions in 11 Cities Coast to Coast

MISSISSAUGA, ON, April 24, 2003 — Microsoft Canada Co. today announced its coast-to-coast launch tour for Windows Server 2003 operating system and Visual Studio .NET 2003 development system. Starting in Quebec City on May 12, the tour will stop in all major Canadian cities over the course of May and June. The two-day events offer an opportunity to learn how to take advantage of Windows Server 2003 and Visual Studio .NET 2003 to quickly build efficient solutions that help increase overall productivity while driving down costs.

The first day of the event features TechNet Level 200 presentations covering Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2003, SQL Server™ 2000 Enterprise Edition (64-bit), Microsoft Office System and migration strategies for Windows NT® operating system and Windows Server 2000. The day will include a special session with presentations from Intel Corporation and Hewlett-Packard (Canada) Co. that address performance, migration, management, and security of Windows Server 2003. The second day, a MSDN® event, focuses on the range of new features and enhancements in Visual Studio .NET 2003 for every type of developer. Sessions will highlight key improvements directed at both mobile and enterprise developers, giving attendees an understanding of how they can build applications that scale from the device to the data center.
