Xbox Unleashed Contest at www.xbox.com/ca/xboxevents Adds To Summer Excitement

TORONTO, ON, June 4, 2003 — Get ready Canada, Xbox is about to be unleashed this summer! Starting this June, Xbox Canada is hitting the streets with Xbox Unleashed to give Canadians a chance to step up to play the hottest new games of summer on the coolest, most powerful video game system around. Xbox Canada is challenging gamers to test their skills in the new Xbox Arena and beat the Xbox Pro for a chance to win amazing Xbox prizes.
Throughout the months of June, July and August, five travelling teams will take the Xbox Arena on the road to summer’s biggest events and venues, sporting the most anticipated new Xbox titles -- like Brute Force and Midtown Madness 3 -- primed and ready for play. Gamers that think they have the skills can take on Xbox Canada team members and other fellow Xbox gamers for the chance to win Xbox prizes and, more importantly, bragging rights.
In addition, to further unleash the exhilaration of Xbox, gamers can head over to www.xbox.com/ca/xboxevents to enter a weekly draw to win a copy of the Xbox Unleashed feature game and a Samsung Digital Camcorder, valued at $1,200 CDN. And at the end of the summer, Xbox will also be giving away one grand prize consisting of an Ultimate Xbox Home Entertainment Prize Pack, valued at over $2,000 CDN.
“Xbox gamers recognize the value of the hottest technology and that’s exactly what Samsung delivers,” says Louis Kim, Corporate Marketing Manager, Samsung Canada. “Xbox Unleashed is a perfect fit for us… plus, we get to make a very fun summer even better!”
