Ah, spring. A great time to be in Canada. It's a time of renewal and optimism. It's a time of restoration and hope. It's a time to pack away the winter clothes and break out the garden tools, all while gleefully watching the melting of the 10-foot snow drift that's been blocking the front door. Yes, spring holds a special meaning to us Canadians.
The times certainly are busy here in the Great White North. From cutting code to filing taxes, from attending user group meetings to preparing the TV room for 2010, Canadian developers everywhere are eagerly preparing for spring. For those of you who haven't been keeping up with the scene, here's a summary
|
of what's been happening and what's coming up in this fine land of ours.

Now, all that's left is for you to judge the two finalists remaining. Please check out the competition Website to review the entries and vote for your favourite solution.
Got RSS? If so, I'd recommend checking out the new Canadian Developers Weblog. This Weblog is stuffed full of geeky goodness, with information and news that's relevant to developers in Canada. Dan "Brute Force" Sellers, Jerome "Web Dude" Carron, and I (John "Sans Xbox 360" Bristowe) are keepers of this Weblog and welcome your feedback. Stay tuned for articles featuring the events and people in your local area!
Finally, I'll be travelling for the next few weeks around western Canada, visiting many of our awesome user groups, talking about Windows Vista, Office 2007, and WinFX. If you're in the neighbourhood, please feel free to drop by and introduce yourself.
Go Flames Go.
