From the Editor

Hello fellow developers,

By the time you read this, the team and I will be part way through the Launch, Technical Readiness and Community Connection events occurring all across Canada. The response to these events so far has been great, so if we haven't visited your city, there might still be time to sign up to attend one of the events and find out what your peers across Canada are learning. For a list of upcoming cities and dates click here and be sure to look at both the "Launch & Technical Readiness" tab as well as the "Community Connection Events" tab.

If you have already attended one of the events, be sure to visit the community site to share your photos, blog posts, and videos, as well as see what others are sharing.

One of the other things that is currently running is the MSDN Code Awards. From now until March 31st, 2008 you have the chance to cast your vote for the Individual Developer as well as the Development Team that you think should win the award. There are some great stories, and some innovative applications that have been built, so if you have a few minutes, read some of the submissions to see what other developers across Canada are working on.

Lastly, as the entire team here at Microsoft is committed to your satisfaction, if you have an idea for a session, a comment on the flash, the website, or an event, or just a question that you haven't been able to get answered please visit us on the Canadian Developers blog or send us an email at msdnteam@microsoft.com.

Cheers,

Barnaby Jeans
