From the Editor

Christian Beauclair

Hello developers.

Summer is fast approaching but it is hot already in Ottawa. We are winding down our fiscal year and I can tell you it's been a blast. From the Real Development Tour in the fall to the Heroes Happen Here launch and Energize IT in Toronto, it's been a fun year. We met lots of you and every time we try to get as much feedback from you as possible so we Microsoft can always improve your experience. One of the questions we get a lot after an event is "Where can I access the content from online events you ran in the past?" We do keep that content available so head over to the Ignite Your Coding page at for some really cool webcasts.

I want also to mention, for avid game developers' reader, that Microsoft just launched the Dream-Build-Play contest for 2008 . With a total in prizes of $75000 plus a chance to a publishing contract on Xbox Live Arcade, this is an opportunity, team of up to 7 members won't want to miss.* And don't forget that one of last year winner was from Canada. His name is David Flook from Ontario and you can find the announcement here.

Cheers.

Christian
