Hello developers.
In the previous edition of MSDN Flash newsletter your editor wrote
about Microsoft
Technical Communities and the fact a lot of very talented, highly
motivated developers and IT professionals are talking online and
sharing information about Microsoft tools and products. I think I have
the best job in Microsoft (I bet you haven't heard that one before,
eh?). I get to work with top technical community contributors. They
proactively seek the problems out, in both online and offline technical
communities, and help developers solve their problems faster. They are
called Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs). To learn more about the MVP
Award Program, please see my guest blog posts at the MSDN Canada
developer connection blog (Part 1, Part 2). Next time
you see a Blog/Newsgroup/Web forum post or a presentation done by an MVP,
you can be sure about the quality of information you are getting there.
There are only around 180 of them in Canada and only around 4000
worldwide!!!
|
If you have any questions on
MVP program, please either see the MVP Program page or
feel free to email me. The most
up to date list of MVPs, with their respective competencies can be found
at MVP Directory.
Lastly, take a minute to check out the Microsoft Technical
Communities and experience the forums, social bookmarking, and wikis
designed to help you connect and get things done. It's about community.
Make it yours.
