Hi everyone,
I hope you are having a great summer. I'm currently attending the Agile 2008 conference
in Toronto featuring luminary speakers such as Alan Cooper
("Father of Visual Basic" and inventor of Personas), James
Newkirk (co-creator of nUnit and the Microsoft
Unit Testing Framework), David J. Anderson (inventor of MSF for CMMI Process
Improvement), Mary Poppendieck (Lean Programming Guru) and many
others. Here is a photoset
with some of the highlights of the event.

Another big event that is
coming this Fall is the Professional
Developer Conference in Los Angeles between October 27-30. If you're
interested in the future of the Microsoft platform, you're responsible
for the technical strategy in your organization, or you're a highly
skilled developer who likes to delve deep into the heart of the platform,
then the PDC is for you! The sessions include exciting
topics like ASP.NET Futures, Live Mesh, future Client application
development and much more. Click here to sign up for the event. Finally,
if you are like me and like to plan early, be sure to check out DevTeach Montreal which
will run between December 1-5. DevTeach features
terrific Canadian and international speakers and is a great place to
network with experts and your peers! Check out their website to learn more.
Cheers,
Jean-Luc
