Jean-Luc David
Hi Everyone,

It's an exciting time to be a Canadian developer. As I write this, Silverlight 2 has just been released to the Web! Silverlight 2 is the first cross-platform, cross-browser runtime to feature the .NET Framework, powering rich application experiences on the Web. As more and more Canadian companies adopt Silverlight, it's important for you to upgrade your skills in order to stay competitive.
The TechDays Canada 2008 tour has great sessions on Web and Windows development to help you stay current. We have extended the Early Bird Registration for TechDays to October 29th. Hurry and sign up now!

I'm sad to announce that this will be my final MSDN Flash editorial with the Canadian Developer Advisor team. Next week, I'm moving on to a new role with the corporate team in Redmond with an exciting opportunity to raise the exposure of Canadian developers, and impact all developers worldwide. I'd like to thank you for your support and your friendship during the past two years! As always, one of the best ways of staying connected with the Canadian Developer team is through the Canadian Developer Connection blog. Check out my farewell video here.

Take care - and make it so!
Cheers and Good Bye
