Hi ,

This is my first editorial for 2009 and I'd like to wish you a great and Happy New Year. This will be a really interesting year with many new products coming out that will have some impact on developers. One of these has just moved from Beta to Release Candidate and that is Internet Explorer 8. There are many new features in this release around Reliability, Performance, Compatibility and Security. I would encourage you to download this document to get answers to many of your common
developer-related questions about Windows Internet Explorer 8 RC1 and then try it out today. We did review the subject at TechDays 2008 and plan to keep discussing it with you through our blog.

I want to also remind you that there are only 2 weeks left to share your IT story in our Ignite IT Awards program. Remember, you not only can win the admiration of your colleagues and friends, you could win one of two $5,000 prizes and a Software Kit valued at $1,000.

See you online

The IT resources who are most in demand are BI Analysts and Developers. Until you come full circle on all aspects and best practices of BI you’ll struggle in your BI projects. This is why we created the BI Boot Camp. It provides the training of 4 days in 2 days. If you are doing web sites with SharePoint and MOSS you’ll be pleased by this boot camp because SharePoint is often the front-end for most BI solutions.
