Resources supporting Canadian ISVs and how you can get local help Vol 13-28 | December, 2010
Email me
My name is Christian Beauclair, Senior ISV Evangelist at Microsoft Canada. Many of you who may have read our Canadian Developer blog may have found out that I am now responsible for supporting the ISV community in Canada. This new role really excites me because I get to spend time with the hottest and coolest companies developing applications on the Microsoft Platform, like DayForce , Lymbix and Kobo to name a few.

In this new role, I will be the local Canadian contact for ISV’s to find out about Microsoft programs like BizSpark for startups, Microsoft Platform Ready for application certification and Metro for early adoption. I will also act as technical advisor if there are questions about platform choices.

Right now we’re looking for stories from ISV’s who are experimenting with the cloud to test Azure and Mobile application companies to try their hands at Windows Phone 7 . I’m also on the lookout for anyone targeting Windows 7 and some of its cool features or making use of SQL Server as their database of choice. IE9 and HTML 5 are also of interest.  I want to feature and highlight your story and help you get your message out to share with others. You are the blood that brings in the oxygen that makes the Microsoft platform so successful. Without you the ecosystem would be sparse.

So please, contact me if you work for an ISV or are one of the principals so we can start the dialog to share your story and ensure you are receiving the support you need.
