Enrollment in Microsoft Open License usually requires your business to acquire 5 licenses. For a limited time, this number has been reduced to 3. This means you can get into the program for less licenses than usual.

Businesses who enroll in the Open License program have the option of upgrading to Open License Value. Open License Value has all the features of Open License, plus Software Assurance and a Spread Payments benefit. For a limited time, Open License Value is also available with a purchase of 3 rather than 5 licenses.

Software Assurance means that for the duration of your license agreement, you can receive:
  • Any new version upgrades on software covered during your agreement.
  • Free training from Microsoft.
  • Free phone support 24 x 7 and free web support during business hours.

The Spread Payment benefit:
  • Lets you amortize the cost of enrolling in Open License over the duration of your agreement in order to avoid a large up-front cost.
  • Spread Payment is only available through the Open License Value upgrade.

  • A minimum of three qualifying licenses must be acquired to be eligible to the Open 3 Licensing promotion (eligible VL programs include Open Value Subscription (OVS) and Open Value Company Wide)
