Microsoft Small Business 2003 R2 Rebate Promotion Terms & Conditions

  • Purchase Qualification
    This offer is available only to organizations which purchase server licenses (L) or licenses with Software Assurance (L&SA) through one of the following Microsoft Volume License programs (Open License Business, Open License Value, Select license and Enterprise Agreement) ("qualifying organizations"). Nothing in these terms & conditions guarantees that an organization will meet the eligibility requirements for enrolment and renewal in the Microsoft Open License program.

    Qualifying Small Business server products for this offer include:

    • Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2 Standard
    • Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2 Premium
  • Redemption Requirements and Limits

    OFFER EXTENDED - This offer is good for purchases made from April 25, 2008 through June 27, 2008 or when $20,000 of rebate dollars has been distributed to all Qualifying Organizations during this time period, whichever comes first. Please check this www.microsoft.ca/serverrebate for offer availability before purchasing. Microsoft reserves the right to extend the time period or increase the rebate dollars available for this offer in its sole discretion.

    Government, academic, charity and OEM customers are not eligible for this promotion.

    Qualifying Organizations must successfully register to receive the server systems promotion based on their purchase at www.microsoft.ca/serverrebate by 5:00pm EST by June 27, 2008. A "redemption" is defined as completing a single registration on the foregoing Web site. There is a limit of one (1) redemption per qualifying organization and each qualifying organization can only receive rebate for the first ten (10) licences with a maximum of ten (10) licenses that qualify for the promotion, including licenses for related companies, affiliates, and subsidiaries

    Failure to register to receive the server system rebate by 5:00pm EST on June 27, 2008 forfeits a qualifying organization’s right to receive any rebates.

    Subject to the above-stated quantity limitation, the relevant time periods are as follows:

    Purchase Time Period: April 25, 2008 through June 27, 2008

    Redemption Time Period: On or before June 27, 2008 by 5:00pm EST

    This offer may not be combined with other Microsoft offers.

  • Qualifying Organizations Will Receive
    Qualifying Organizations will receive a rebate for each qualifying server licenses (L) or licenses with Software Assurance (L&SA) purchased for up to 10 Licenses, as outlined in the following schedule:



    Purchased Licenses with Software Assurance (L&SA) will receive the stated rebate per license above. The rebate amount per License will not be pro-rated based on the number of years remaining on the license agreement.
  • Licenses Exclusions
    Rebate is not valid in conjunction with purchases of the following licenses:
    • Any editions of Microsoft Windows Server other than Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 R2 Standard and Premium Editions
    • Client Access Licenses
    • Microsoft software pre-installed or supplied by an Original Equipment Manufacturer
    • Academic Edition ("AE") products
    • Those purchased through government software or license programs
    • Upgrade licenses (if available)
    • Any Software Assurance only purchase
    • Not-for-Resale software
    • Software acquired through charity pricing, TechNet or MSDN® Subscriptions
  • Rebate Payment Information
    A rebate cheque will be delivered to the qualifying organization within eight (8) weeks of the date of redemption. The cheque will expire 90 days after the date issued.

    The receipt of benefits is contingent upon successful verification that all of the criteria in these terms and conditions have been met.
