This is the story of Alex who finally takes the leap and founds a travel company. As her business grows, she buys Microsoft software in different ways.

Year 1 - Alex uses her home computer for work. She buys boxed Microsoft software directly from a local retailer.

Year 2 - Alex hires her first employee. As she needs to buy a new computer for him, she opts for one with Microsoft software pre-installed.

Year 3 - The Microsoft Office software on Alex’s computers needs upgrading. She buys boxed upgrade packages directly from a retailer.

Year 4 - Alex’s business is growing rapidly and she hires two more employees. Since she needs to buy multiple copies of Windows Vista, Microsoft Office and one licence for a Windows Small Business Server, she qualifies Volume Licensing , any purchase of five or more licenses.
