From the Editor
Greetings New TechNet Flash Subscriber,
|
You’ve seen
our blog posts, and you might have even seen some
early posts from
D`Arcy and
Miguel and you might have even peaked at
the landing page and must be wondering what’s up!
What is TechDays and why are we doing this? Well it
all comes down to your feedback. Over the past years
you have asked for more technical content, less
marketing. You want to learn new skills, improve your
position within your organization or move on to bigger
and better things. All over the world Microsoft runs a
similar event you know as
TechEd. TechEd has been wildly popular and gotten
bigger each year but one piece of feedback you have
also given us was to make it local, so we did, and
TechDays Canada was born.
We have been working on
TechDays 2008 for over a year, and we are pretty
excited. We are heading out to seven cities across
Canada with 5 tracks and 6-8 sessions per track. That
is anywhere from 30 to 40 sessions per city and we are
bringing in the best experts from your local area to
teach you the skills you need to succeed. Whether it
is SQL Server, Infrastructure or my favorite,
virtualization, there are bound to be sessions you
want to see. Heck there are even two developer tracks
if that is your game. Learn more at www.techdays.ca
