Volume 10, Issue 23: November 2008
From the Editor
Greetings New TechNet Flash Subscriber,
Visit Our Blog!
There has been a lot of small business news happening as you may have noticed with the last two TechNet Flash newsletters. The news keeps coming with the recent launch and general availability of Windows Small Business Server 2008 and Windows Essential Business Server 2008. SBS 2008 is the upgrade to SBS 2003 R2 while EBS is a brand new product that, in my opinion, takes the best of SBS and extends that out businesses that are just over the limitations of SBS limitations. A perfect fit between SBS and the enterprise level solutions.

There is a lot of great information out there for you to get your hand dirty but before you get to deploying you need the software right? Well the TechNet Evaluation Centre is ready to help! You can download evaluation versions of Windows Small Business Server 2008 as well as Windows Essential Business Server 2008 and then check out these guides to help get you started!

Now I did mention a launch and while there was no in person event, there was an online event at http://thedreamserver.com and there are some additional resources there.
