There are a few times of the year where there is a lot of excitement and buzz around the office.  The Worldwide Partner Conference (aka WPC), which just wrapped up, is one of those as there are a number of announcements that are made at such events.  If you were there or watched the online version at http://www.digitalwpc.com you most likely saw the demos on Office 2010, Azure, OCS 2007 R2, Windows 7 and more.  If you didn’t the videos are all available online, in HD, thanks to Silverlight and IIS 7 Smooth Streaming .

You’ll have your chance to learn more about these technologies as we have sessions lined up for TechDays 2009 covering Windows 7, Exchange 2010, Silverlight 3, Hyper-V R2 and more.  Registration is now open and you can get in on the early bird pricing of $299(plus applicable taxes) at http://www.techdays.ca

P.S. If you have a topic you would like to see covered in a future newsletter, drop me an email at Rodney.Buike@microsoft.com and let me know!

News in a Flash

Your feedback matters: Tell us what you think of the NEW TechNet Flash

The TechNet Flash newsletter redesign was introduced back in April 2009 and our team wants your feedback on 1) new design & format (do you like it? Is it easy to navigate? Do you prefer this version over the old layout?) 2) the type of content being served (are you getting enough? Do you want to hear more about a particular topic or solution more?) and 3) general suggestions for what we can do to make it more relevant and interesting for you. The first 10 people to email us their comments around those three areas will receive a free copy of the Xbox 360 game-Halo Wars (we cover shipping and handling). So let us know what you think! Read rules here .
