Unless you have been living under a rock you’ve heard about Windows 7, have most likely tried it, and are even probably running it on your own PC.  But you are probably also still running Windows XP in the environment that you manage.  You are probably going to be asked to update that to Windows 7 soon as many Canadian organizations begin to migrate to Windows 7 by the end of 2010.

While the deployment technologies have changed quite a bit since you last deployed Windows XP, have no fear, a Community tour is here!  Starting on January 26th in Vancouver and heading East you’ll be able to join me for an evening deep dive on deployment of Windows 7.  From planning, to deployment to application compatibility we’ll cover it all and leave plenty of opportunity for questions. Registration is free, seating is limited so  register in the city nearest you or click here for more information.

Vancouver — January 26, Victoria —January 27, Winnipeg -January 28, Calgary -February 2, Edmonton -February 4, Mississauga -February 8, Waterloo -February 11,  Montreal -March 2, Ottawa -March 4,  Regina -March 16, Saskatoon -March 18.

I look forward to seeing you in these cities and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Happy New Year too!
