Install the Cumulative Security Update MS10-018 for Internet Explorer

Security Update MS10-018 resolves nine privately reported vulnerabilities and one publicly disclosed vulnerability in Internet Explorer. The more severe vulnerabilities could allow remote code execution if a user views a specially crafted Web page using IE6 or IE7, and does not affect users of IE8. We highly recommend customers to promptly install this update to help protect against these vulnerabilities, and upgrade to IE8 to benefit from significant security enhancements as well as reliability and performance improvements.
Windows End-of-Support Dates

An important reminder about end-of-support dates for Windows Vista RTM, Windows XP SP2, and Windows 2000 . Make sure you are ready for these important dates: • Support for Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Windows 2000 will end on July 13, 2010. • Support for the Windows Vista Release to Manufacturing (RTM) will end on April 13, 2010.
