VirtualReality: The Truth about Microsoft’s Interoperable Virtualization Stack Vol 13-10 | May, 2011
Email me
A couple of months back — I poked around the online community asking if they could have someone from Microsoft come in to talk — what would the topic be? With the recent release of Hyper-V Server Service Pack 1 and its impact on Hyper-V — virtualization was a resounding request. Add to that the release of our free iSCSI software and an update to SystemCenter Virtual Machine Manager , it’s overdue for an update on how we stack up in the Virtualization space. As a result - a great 90 minute demo heavy session was created through consultation with a number of people on my “Virtualization Sounding Board”.

Last week I tweeted and contacted community leaders to ask if they would be interested in a visit by a member of our team with this in our back pocket .  I was quite happy with the response! It’s open for any group to make the request for us to visit and we’ll do our best to fit it in.  The end result — check out our mini community tour with stops in Sydney, Halifax, Victoria, Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal. Signup Details will be posted as they become available or as new stops are added — check back soon!
