A. | This offer is valid only for customers purchasing new Windows XP Upgrade (U), Upgrade with Software Assurance (U&SA), or Software Assurance (SA)-only licenses through Open Business, Open License Value, Select, and Enterprise Agreements during the promotional period. This offer is not available for academic, government, or charity licenses. This offer is limited to qualifying organizations with 1,000 employees or fewer. A. | To be eligible for this offer, the following conditions must be met: - Only companies operating as commercial businesses with 1,000 employees or less are eligible. Government, not-for¬-profit or academic organizations are not eligible.

Q. | Can I spread my payments over three years and still get the rebate? |
A. | Yes, the first year must be fully paid to be eligible for the rebate. I don't think this is clear. The entire rebate amount will be paid in the first year of the agreement. |
Q. | Does this offer apply to EA renewals and true-ups? |
A. | The rebate does apply to renewals, but not to true-ups. This rebate does not apply to ESLs. |

A. | To ensure a fair distribution of rebate incentives, we had to cap the rebate offering to allow the broadest range of organizations to take advantage of the offer. We believe the rebate incentive as designed will go far to help organizations with their deployment needs. |

A. | Microsoft makes a variety of different marketing programs available to our customers from time-to-time. In order to ensure a fair opportunity for all interested and eligible customers to participate in this program, and to protect the integrity of our marketing programs, we must strictly enforce the offer period provisions. |
Q. | How do you determine the one rebate per customer stipulation? |
A. | Microsoft will pay one rebate to each unique legal business entity that is covered by either a Select or Enterprise Agreement enrollment or by an Open License Value Agreement as indicated on the rebate form. For greater certainty, all licenses must appear in one invoice. |
Q. | Do I determine which purchase receives the rebate, or does Microsoft? |
A. | The customer determines which purchase(s) receive the rebate by redeeming the rebate at the www.microsoft.ca/windowsxp/rebate web site. |
