Business Needs
Many CDW customers acquired Microsoft software through a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement and/or Microsoft Select License. Those with Enterprise Agreements wanted the option to add Microsoft cloud services without renegotiating their agreements. Those with Select began to look for more flexibility to support new initiatives and to ease forecasting requirements. Many CDW customers were also anxious to preserve cash flow and credit-line availability.

Solution
CDW introduced customers to updates in the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, including the flexibility to license Microsoft on-premises software and cloud services under a single agreement. The firm also helped customers transition to the improved, more flexible Select Plus program, which is replacing Select. Select Plus now offers volume discounts based on total organization purchases and prorated Microsoft Software Assurance benefits, such as upgrade rights, problem support, and training. CDW is also connecting customers with Microsoft Financing to reduce up-front costs.
