For the company, it became clear that the answer lay in virtualization or cloud computing, particularly using Windows Server 2012. This is due to its ability to extend beyond virtualization by allowing a business to create a private cloud, scale and secure
workloads and provide greater computing power - all at a minimal cost.
The solution was implemented with Windows 2012 and Hyper-V 3.0 installed on 4 servers clustered on one site, and 1 server with Windows 2012 and Hyper-V 3.0 installed on another site. Scenarios involving NIC Teaming, Hyper-V Live Migration, Hyper-V Storage
Migration and Hyper-V Replica were successfully tested.
