The company saved $70,000 in its first 10 months of live operation by reducing the time and labor to process accounting documents and by improving cross-departmental collaboration.

Transport Logistics Group Improves Its Accounting Operations with Reporting Solution
4-page Case Study posted: 05/13/2014

In October 2009, the management of Aquila Group decided to change its IT system. The previous system had been developed by an internal team using the integrated solution, Microsoft Dynamics AX. The reasons for the investment were a need to consolidate the three management applications that existed within the group, as well as a need for faster access to financial and accounting data from a complex reporting system. The company in charge of implementing the solution was Novensys. It customized Microsoft Dynamics AX based on Aquila's requirements, by adding features specific for distribution activity: pocket-PC integration, traceability, etc. These features were provided in addition to standard ones.
