The Northern Ireland Assembly is the devolved legislature of Northern Ireland responsible for making laws. The Assembly works with a significant amount of information, and it must make sure its members have the most relevant information. The Assembly was using paper-based systems and decided to migrate to Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 working with the online services of Microsoft Office 365 to introduce new features to its members. By using Office 2010, the Assembly can collaborate and communicate more effectively, and it can move toward its goal of a paperless office. The Assembly uses Microsoft OneNote 2010 to pull together disparate information into a single notebook, making it easier for law makers and staff to have all relevant information in front of them while making legislation decisions.
