Turkcell, which is the leading telecommunications operator in Turkey, launched the Online Transactions app for Windows 8 phones to allow customers to make online transactions such as mobile top-up, viewing remaining balance or monthly invoice, changing
voice and SMS and data plans for free. As a result of the partnership with Microsoft, Turkcell added a differentiating feature to the Online Transactions app with live tiles. With this feature, Turkcell enhanced customer experience by enabling the users to
view their remaining balance on their home screen without even opening the app.
