With 5,000 employees, over 260 branches located throughout Pakistan, Faysal Bank provides a variety of financial products and services to its customers. The bank needed a virtualization infrastructure that would add value to the business by enhancing the
reliability and availability of their business applications within the organization as well as with its clients.
However, because of its business requirements, the time had come to find an alternative solution that was more cost-effective and offered more features.
It was also equally important that the solution could:
perform live and storage migration without the need of a shared storage
eliminate or reduce downtime for critical services
improve server performance
reduce the number of physical servers without diminishing capacity
