The ATC PMX team in Beijing China is looking for its next super-star Sr. Program Manager!
Would you like to take a leading role in building the next-generation premium mobile experience phone based on Windows Mobile? Do you have the passion and the conviction to design the right product for the customer? Then you will want to work in the new ATC PMX team! This new team in ATC will be part of a core team at Microsoft to deliver great premium mobile experiences to consumers world-wide. We are looking for passionate and experienced PMs to work with internal/external partners/stakeholders to drive the delivery of this new exciting Windows Mobile premium phone.
A strong candidate will have a solid track record and ability to ship products, managing technical and partnership dependencies across groups, and have excellent technical product design skills. Technical passion, cross-group collaboration skills, and feature design are the most important competencies. Prior experience with Windows Mobile or mobile applications is a strong plus.
Deliver premium mobile experience on a new Windows Mobile-based consumer phone
Work with PMs, Devs, Tests, UX, and other stakeholders to ensure quality from design through delivery
Design great user-centric features to meet the requirements of the end-users and mobile operators
Manage multiple priorities to deliver commitments on time and meet/exceed high quality bars
Manage/mentor/coach more junior PMs
Qualifications
Strong customer empathy, good at understanding customer requirements and able to transfer such knowledge into detailed feature specs
Familiar with software development process (product development, test and release lifecycles)
Experienced in designing user-centric software features
Excellent problem solving skill, proficient at UI and technical design
Relentless in driving for results
Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Browser/multimedia development experience a strong plus
Experience with Windows Mobile/Embedded application development highly desirable
Technical passion and familiarity with C/C++ and object oriented designs
Degree in Computer Science or related technical field required
