The Advanced Technology Center is located in Beijing, China, and works on some key core technologies in the next generation of Windows Mobile platform. Currently we are looking for an experienced, talented and highly motivated test discipline leader to help us to lead and build the rich mobile end-to-end experience for the next generation Windows Mobile device. As a senior test lead in the ATC mobile team, you will be leading a team of talented, energetic engineers to ensure we deliver great quality end-to-end user-centric premium mobile experiences and build a world-class consumer phone. You will be working closely with our program management and dev teams, headquarter teams, as well as our partners in producing the best Windows Mobile devices that address consumer’s needs.
You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of test methodologies to achieve product quality goals. Responsibilities include design and implement robust test tools and automation, hiring and managing fulltime SDET and STE individual contributors, define test strategy, test planning, identify required test tools and harnesses, oversee test execution and test tools development, and guide, mentor and grow people in your team. Strong cross group collaboration and communication skills are essential. Internally you will interact closely with the development team and program managers. Externally you will work closely with other development, localization, test and build/release teams from different product groups who utilize our deliverables, likely in different time zones. Interactions includes improve the daily communication process, status, and address issues such as daily build drop, bug tracking and triaging.
