 Second Round Interview
Yes, Those Interviews
As you may have heard, our interview process can be quite rigorous. But if you've made it this far, we're confident you'll do well. Think about it. We're the leading software company in the world. We invite only the very best to our campus to meet with us. And that means you. | | “When you come to an interview make sure you prepare as much as you can because working for this company will be by far the best decision you have ever made.”
- Jonathan, Program Manager, WinINet and WinHTTP |
While you're here: | • | You'll meet our people. Potential co-workers, mentors, and managers will be eager to get to know more about you. Likely, they'll be from different product groups. The exact groups will depend on the interests you've shared, on available opportunities, and also on where we feel you'll be most successful based on what you told us in your initial interview. You may interview for as long as an hour with as many as four or five different people in one day, so rest up. | | • | You'll be asked to think out loud. No matter what group or position you're interviewing for, we'll want to know how your mind works. So be prepared to verbalize your thought process as you work through a technical issue, design question, or problem-solving puzzle. We're interested in more than your answer. We want to know how you got there, and whether you can explain clearly how you did so. | | • | You'll get to explore. We'll leave time for you to see the campus and surrounding community, to get a feel for the place we call home—and that may become your home soon. |
And, because we want you to be as relaxed and comfortable as possible during your stay, we handle all the arrangements and expenses for your visit—travel, rental car, accommodations, and meals. When Will You Know the Outcome?
After your trip, your recruiter will be in touch, usually within a couple of weeks. If they extend you an offer, they'll work with you to help you reach a decision that's right for you. Best of luck! | |
