 Silicon Valley Campus
Our 32-acre Silicon Valley Campus (SVC) is strategically situated in the center of the United States' most diverse and competitive technology hotbed. Located just off Highway 101 in Mountain View, the SVC hosts development teams working on such high profile Microsoft products and services as Xbox®, Windows Live™, MSN®, MSN® Search, MSN® Hotmail®, Microsoft® Office PowerPoint®, Microsoft® TV, and Macintosh products. Microsoft Research also has a presence here. SVC offers: | • | Many of the amenities you find at our main campus in Redmond, including a first-rate cafeteria, the Cosmic Cafe (which employees say beats any in Redmond hands down), a company store, a research library, and excellent volleyball and basketball courts. (You'll also find a few perks you don't get in Redmond-like the option of bringing your pets to the office.) | | • | The opportunity to interact with an incredible mix of professionals working at partner and competitor companies throughout this technology-rich region. (Headquarters for Oracle, Yahoo, Google, Sun, Palm, and Apple are all within just a few miles of SVC.) | | • | Proximity to Palo Alto and Menlo Park (10 minutes), world-class universities such as Stanford and UC Berkeley—add to the phenomenal cultural, recreational, and entertainment diversions of San Francisco (45 minutes) | | • | Direct access to the Stevens Creek Trail, part of a massive network of biking and jogging trails that leads throughout Silicon Valley and along the entire San Francisco Bay shoreline. | | • | Nine months of glorious sunshine! |
And when weekends come around, your choices expand exponentially. Napa Valley, Monterey, Big Sur, LA, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Reno, and Vegas are just a few of your many options.
