Microsoft recommends optimized devices, including phones, headsets, and other devices that conform to the Unified Communications Device Qualification for Office Communications Server voice deployment. These devices will display the Optimized for Microsoft Office Communicator word mark, and ensure user quality of experience by providing a "just works" installation experience, a high quality audio or video experience, and lower total cost of ownership (TCO).
