You cannot manually start the Automatic Updates service and you receive an
"Error 1058" error message on a computer that is running Windows XP or
Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005:

  cooooool

windows update is working.

SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition found some "Vundos".
SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition is an awsome programm.
Windows defender found nothing, adaware found nothing, antivir found nothing.

It seems SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition isn´t very famously in germany.
I never heard from it. And I know many programms and tricks on the pc. I
googled fpr the programm and only found a few german pages about the progg.

This is a pity.

  Hi David,

Also I would suggest running a HijackThis to ensure that Vundo did not bring
along any uninvited guests. (SDBot and ZLOB, all protected by a rootkit.)

David,

You may *think* the system is clean but we ** strongly suggest ** you
visit a reputable anti-malware forum to confirm this. Please read the
guidelines of the forum of your choice prior to posting:

It's better to be safe, than sorry. For instance, how many Versions of
the Sun Java Runtime [J2SE] are listed in Add/Remove Programs in the
Control Panel ? I'd be willing to bet that there are more than one of
them and NONE of them are updated to the latest so-called, secure Version.

There is onliy one version of Versions ofthe Sun Java Runtime.
Thanks for the links, but for my bad english this "high english" is to much.

I testet my HijackThis online on

http://www.hijackthis.de/de

and nothing was found.
So, I hope every thing is ok and hope .
I mean, my system runy without any problems and no scanner can find anything.

So I hope everything is clean and forgot this bad day.
