Meet our people
Life’s more than work
David Schaub, Swedish Build Manager Dynamics AX, has been with MDCC since December 2000. David has a degree in engineering.

“One way or the other, I’ve been working with software design and software testing throughout my education. Coming to Denmark to continue my career with the greatest software company in the world was therefore a natural move for me. Especially because I wouldn’t settle for anything less than working with the smartest people in the world.”

“Coming up with innovative ideas and new angles is tough. But I’m not any different from all other software buffs, I suppose. To feel alive, I need a constant flow of concrete challenges and the chance to test my skills again and again and again. As you can probably imagine, it’s a handful to plan upcoming projects and monitor the daily operations and activities of Dynamics AX worldwide. But that happens to be the way I like it. What’s more, I also get to drive projects, hire new people for my team and clear the road for any obstacles that might stop us from realizing our potential.”

A lead role in a global organization
“On a daily basis, I connect and collaborate with people from many different parts of the world. I get the chance to try out new technologies, to grow strong management skills and to learn everything there is to learn. In that respect, my work truly broadens my horizon. It’s great to feel that my team makes a concrete difference. And it’s cool that what we do has a direct impact on the software products Microsoft will eventually be putting out there on the global market.”

“Coming from another country to work, you need to focus on making new friends and building a whole new social life. Luckily, moving from Sweden to Denmark has been a great experience with many benefits. It is a big step though, and you need to be aware that it’s important to start networking as soon as you get here. Especially if you’re taking your wife and kids with you, as I did. We’re happy that Copenhagen has so much to offer on the cultural scene and I’ll never regret packing our bags and taking on the world. I simply kept all my friends at home and made new ones over here. In my view, there simply isn’t a downside in challenging yourself to move to a new country.”
