Terms and Conditions: Microsoft Schweiz Facebook Competition
  1. The competition of Microsoft Schweiz GmbH (“Microsoft“, “Promoter“) is open to Swiss residents, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Minors are entitled to participate if the legal representative has consented to the participation and agreed to these conditions before. Employees of Microsoft, or its affiliates and subsidiaries are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, and spouse and life partners). You are also not eligible if you were or are involved in any part of the administration or execution of this competition. Governmental officials are not allowed to participate. Minors are entitled to participate if the legal representative has consented to the participation and agreed to these conditions before. The winners will be determined by public voting.

  2. To enter, you must send your picture by e-mail to the following 360-summerphoto@microsoft.com Eligible entrants will receive one entry to this competition. Multiple Emails of the same entrant will not participate.

  3. To be elected as a winner, a potential winner must confirm prize acceptance within one month of the date being notified. The winners will be contacted by e-mail. If the email is not responded to within the aforementioned time period of the date being notified, the winner will forfeit the relevant prize in its entirety and the promoter may dispose of such prizes without any liability to the winner. The prizes will be sent to the winners per post.

  4. You may not exchange your prize for cash or any other merchandise or services.

  5. Participation is free of charge and no purchase is necessary to participate.

  6. All winners are solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or fees, as well as all additional costs that may be incurred.

  7. Microsoft reserves the right to disqualify entrants beaching these Terms and Conditions.

  8. All warranty claims against Microsoft Schweiz GmbH are excluded.

  9. By entering the competition, participants are conclusively deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  10. Die Teilnahmebedingungen unterliegen ausschliesslich dem Schweizer Recht.

  11. These terms and conditions are solely subject to Swiss law.

  12. No recourse to legal action is permitted.

  13. Microsoft is committed to data-privacy.
    We will process the personal data and/or communication data that you provide in your submission for the purpose of running and handling the competition and in conformance with our General data privacy rules. Please ensure that any personal data you provide us with is accurate. In addition, the guidelines and practices reuse of data collection stated under http://www.microsoft.com/info/de-ch/privacy.mspx apply. By entering the drawing, you hereby grant the handling of your personal data and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The information you provide will only be used for administering the competition and to contact you by email related to the competition. Any personal data relating to entrants will be deleted about six (6) weeks after determination of the winners.

  14. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to Microsoft Schweiz GmbH and not to Facebook.
