Overview
The Mobile Client Software Factory provides an integrated set of guidance that assists architects and developers in creating applications on the Windows Mobile platform. The software factory includes a reference implementation, how to's, patterns, and Visual Studio .NET extensions.

Note: The Mobile Client Software Factory is not supported in 64 bit operating systems

- Windows XP or Windows Server 2003
- 1.5GHz processor
- 512 MB memory (1 GB preferable for best performance)
- 20MB free disk space
- Pocket PC device with 512 MB memory available
- Using the Visual Studio Mobile Device Emulator:

- Guidance Automation Extensions Technology Preview (February 2007 Release for Visual Studio 2005)
- Guidance Automation Toolkit Technology Preview (February 2007 Release for Visual Studio 2005)
Notes:
- If you install the AdventureWorks Database for the reference implementation, you must have a running instance of SQL Server 2005.
- If you install the Web service for the reference implementation, you must have IIS 5.0 or IIS 6.0.
- If you want to run the reference implementation, you must install both the AdventureWorks Database and the Web service for the reference implementation.

Instructions
- Click the 'Download button' to commence the download
- Once the download dialog appears, do one of the following:
- To start the installation immediately, click Open or Run this program from its current location.
- To copy the download to your computer for installation at a later time, click Save or Save this program to disk. Once you are ready to install the Mobile Client Software Factory-July 2006, double-click on the saved file
- Follow the instructions in the installer program, including accepting the End User Licensing Agreement
