Overview
Use the Multi-Calendar Viewer for Microsoft Outlook® 2000 to open and view up to 6 different people's Calendars side-by-side in one window. If a colleague or manager lets you know that they have given you access to share their Calendar, you can open the shared Calendar and read their schedule. You can also schedule appointments and meetings for your colleague or manager.
For information about setting sharing permissions for an Outlook folder, type Share your calendar folder in the Office Assistant or on the Answer Wizard tab in Outlook 2000 Help, and then click Search.
Note You must have Outlook 2000 and Microsoft Exchange Server to use the Multi-Calendar Viewer. You also must have installed Collaboration Data Objects (CDO), an optional component of Outlook 2000.
To install CDO, follow these steps:
- On the Start menu, point to Settings, and then choose Control Panel. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In the list of programs on the Install/Uninstall tab, find Microsoft Office 2000 and highlight it. Click Add/Remove.
- In the Microsoft Office 2000 Maintenance Mode dialog box, click Add or Remove Features.
- In the Update Features dialog box, expand the Microsoft Outlook for Windows tree and select Collaboration Data Objects. Click Update Now.

To install this download
- You may want to print this page to use as a reference when you are offline.
- Download the file from this page by clicking the Download link above and following the instructions in the dialog boxes.
- Double-click the OLMltCal.exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
Instructions for use:
- On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Multi-Calendar Viewer and then click Multi-Calendar Viewer.
- In the Choose Profile dialog box, select the user profile you want the Multi-Calendar Viewer to use, and then click OK.
- In the Enter a date box, type the date for the day you want to view in the calendar(s).
- Click More Calendars to select the people whose calendars you want to view.
- In the Multi-Calendar Viewer dialog box, select the check boxes next to the names of the people whose calendars you want to view.
- Click Open Calendars to view the calendars side-by-side in one window.
To remove this download:
- On the Start menu, point to Settings, and then choose Control Panel. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In the list of programs on the Install/Uninstall tab, find Multi-Calendar Viewer and highlight it. Click Add/Remove.
- In the Multi-Calendar Viewer Setup dialog box, click Remove All.
- Click Next.
- When the removal process is complete, click Finish.
