This download allows you to install the Welsh spelling checker and hyphenator.
To install and run this download, you need to have installed any Microsoft Office XP suite, or any individual Office XP program that supports Office Proofing Tools (Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft FrontPage®, Microsoft Outlook®, Microsoft PowerPoint®, Microsoft Publisher, or Microsoft Word).

To install this download:- You may want to print this page to use as a reference when you are offline.
- Download the file by clicking Download Now button (above) and following the instructions in the dialog boxes.
- Double-click the welshptk.exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
Instructions for use
Use the proofing tools as you normally would. For example, to use the spelling checker in Word, do the following:- Start Word.
- Open the document that contains Welsh text.
- Select the text you want to spell check using the Welsh spelling files.
- On the Tools menu, point to Language, and then click Set Language.
- In the Mark selected text as list, select Welsh and then click OK.
- Press F7 or click Spelling and Grammar on the Tools menu.
To remove this download:
- On the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In the Install/Uninstall list, select Microsoft Office XP Welsh Proofing Tools, and then click Add/Remove.
- Click Remove All.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish to complete and exit the installer.
