Overview
Excel 2001 and later versions of Excel allow you to continue to use and maintain Excel 4.0 (XLM) macros that have not been upgraded to Visual Basic® for Applications (VBA). Although you cannot record new Microsoft Excel 4.0 macros in Excel 2001 or later versions of Excel, you can run and modify existing XLM macros. This documentation (5 Word files) provides information including syntax and examples for the macro functions.

Instructions
Before you install:
Make sure Aladdin Systems StuffIt Expander version 5.5 or later is installed on your computer. If an earlier version of StuffIt Expander is installed on your computer, you might not be able to install this download.
To download:
- Click the Download link to start the download.
- Click Save or Save this program to disk.
To install:
- Double click the Archive.sit file that you downloaded to run Stuffit Expander and uncompress the Excel 4.0 Macro Reference files.
- Open the Archive folder.
- Double click the Excel 4 Macros reference file that you want.
Note For the best viewing experience, open the Excel 4 Macros reference files in Word 2001 or a later version of Word. You can also use TextEdit to view these files. Top of page
