If you have Microsoft Visio® 2000 or later installed, you can use the Visio WBS Chart Wizard COM add-in for Microsoft Project 2002 to create a work
breakdown structure (WBS) chart in Visio from Microsoft Project data.

To install this download
- You may want to print this page to use as a reference when you are offline.
- Download the file from this page by clicking the Download link above and following the instructions in the dialog boxes.
- Double-click the prjcomvi.exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
Instructions for use:
- Start Microsoft Project 2002. A new toolbar, Visio WBS Chart, will
be displayed in Microsoft Project after installation. If you do not see the
new toolbar, on the Views menu, point to Toolbars and
then click Visio WBS Chart.
- Open the project containing the tasks you wish to display in a Visio WBS
Chart diagram.
- Click the Visio WBS Chart Wizard button on the Visio WBS Chart
toolbar, and then click Apply Task Selection View in the drop-down
menu.
- Follow the instructions to create your WBS Chart.
To remove this download:
- Quit Microsoft Project if it is running.
- On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In the list of currently installed programs, select Microsoft Project
2002 Visio WBS Chart Wizard Add-In and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
- Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
- Start Microsoft Project 2002.
- On the Tools menu, click Customize and then click the
Toolbars tab.
- On the Toolbars tab, select Visio WBS Chart from the list of
toolbars.
- Click Delete, and then click OK to delete the toolbar.
