Overview

Internet Information Services (IIS) 7 Manager is an administration UI that provides end users and administrators with a way to remotely manage IIS 7.0 and IIS 7.5 servers.

System Requirements

  • Supported Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1; Windows Vista Service Pack 1; Windows XP Service Pack 2
You must have the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 or greater installed.

If you are installing on Windows 7:
  • You must have the Internet Information Services Management Console installed.

If you are installing on Windows Vista:
  • You must have Windows Vista Service Pack 1 installed
  • You must have the Internet Information Services 7.0 Management Console installed.

If you are installing on Windows XP:
  • You must have Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed

If you are installing on Windows Server 2003:
  • You must have Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 installed

Instructions

Windows XP and Windows Server 2003
 After installation you can start the Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 Manager by clicking on the Information Services (IIS) 7.0 Manager shortcut in the Programs (or All Programs) section of the Start menu.

Windows 7 and Windows Vista
 After installation you can start the Information Services (IIS) 7.0 Manager by clicking on Start and typing "inetmgr.exe" into the Search box and then pressing enter.
