You can combine Microsoft Excel 2002 worksheets, views, and scenarios into reports that can be printed by using the Report Manager add-in program. Once you add a report, it is saved with the workbook so that you can print the report later.

Overview

Note   Although it was not necessary to download this add-in with previous versions of Excel (it was shipped with the product), you must download it here in order to use it with Excel 2002.

Instructions



To install this download

  1. You may want to print this page to use as a reference when you are offline.
  2. Quit Excel if it's running.
  3. Download the file from the Microsoft Office Tools on the Web site by clicking the Download link above and following the instructions in the dialog boxes.
  4. Double-click the rptmgr.exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
  6. Start Excel.
  7. On the Tools menu, click Add-ins.
  8. Select the Report Manager check box.


Instructions for use:

Use the Excel 2002 Report Manager to:
  • Produce a report by using views and scenarios
  • Edit a report for printing
  • Print a report


To remove this download:

  1. Start Excel.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Add-Ins.
  3. Clear the Report Manager check box.
