Overview
You can use this converter if you are currently running Microsoft PowerPoint® 95, and you want to share PowerPoint files with people running PowerPoint 97 or 2000. Previously, if you were running PowerPoint 95 and you wanted to view a presentation created in PowerPoint 97 or 2000, the person who created the presentation had to save the file in a different format. With this converter, you can now simply open the PowerPoint file and start working with the presentation.

Instructions
To install this download
- You may want to print this page to use as a reference when you are offline.
- Make certain you have at least 700K free on your hard disk drive.
- Download the file from this page by clicking the Download link above and following the instructions in the dialog boxes.
- Double-click the Pp8to7.exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
Instructions for use:
With this converter installed, simply open the PowerPoint presentation, and edit it. The functioning of the converter should be completely automatic.
To remove this download:
- On the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In the Install/Uninstall list, select MS PowerPoint 97-2000 Converter for PowerPoint 95 (Remove only) and then click Add/Remove.
- Confirm that you are certain you want to uninstall this software by clicking Yes.
- When the removal process is complete, click OK in the confirmation dialog box.
